“360 panoramas” are a series of individual photographs shot as a camera rotates 360 degrees. These images are then combined (stitched) to create a 360 view from that one camera location. The final image is often referred to as “a spin”, “360 view” or a 360 panorama”.
A “360 Virtual Tour” incorporates multiple 360 panoramas to create a pathway leading the viewer further into a space. A “360 Virtual Tour” can be different than a “Virtual Tour” in that “Virtual Tours” are often nothing more than a slideshow that users can start or stop. A true “360 Virtual Tour” provides a robust user experience with the ability to control a view in 360 degrees and allows movement through space from one point to another.
