A Letter To My VHT Clients

August 2, 2025

Dear VHT Client

By now you’ve likely heard that VHT Studios will stop taking orders on August 5th and permanently close their doors on August 31, 2025. This was a colossal surprise to all VHT employees and photographers.

As a current VHT Photographer, I’ve had many VHT clients ask “so what is next for you”? Well, I will definitely continue to provide residential real estate photography services and have now formed a partnership with two other former VHT photographers, Michael LaTour and Marty Lang. This residential photography partnership will be under the umbrella of “LaTour Photography”.

I have worked with both of these photographers throughout my years at VHT. We share the same passion for delivering high quality photography at competitive pricing with personalized customer service.

We will offer Photography, Drone, Matterport and Floorplan services comparable to what VHT offered. The scheduling system, order processing, and finishing work will be similar (or better) to VHT.

  • To view our Pricing and Services, please visit our Services and Pricing page
  • To Schedule an Appointment, please go to our Scheduling page
Note: You will need to set up a new account, but you’ll find the ordering process streamlined and easy to use

As a group we are committed to ensuring uninterrupted service to our clients. Our system is available now to request a photo shoot. We will be supporting each other in terms of coverage if one of us is not available due to scheduling conflicts, illness, vacations, life in general. We will have your back as a team!

In 2017 (after almost 30 years in Corporate IT Marketing) I moved into Residential and Commercial Real Estate Photography. Real Estate Photography taps into the knowledge I received from my Master of Fine Arts work at the California Institute of Arts (CalArts), and my undergraduate degree (BFA) in Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota. I apply many of the same principles I learned from both programs to my daily work in real estate photography.

I’m sure many of you will have questions about this transition, so please do not hesitate to Contact Me for further discussion. Thank you for your past business and your trust in me. I’m excited to continue our relationship together to fulfill your Real Estate Photography needs.

Kind Regards,

Chip Jones
Your Former VHT Photographer
